Jacques Bermon Webster II (born on April 30, 1991), better known by his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is a popular American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name is the name of a favorite uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, as well as an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April of 2013, Scott signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. 's Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in the year 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh. Then, he followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. Rodeo (2015) marked the release of his debut studio album. The single that became his biggest hit, "Antidote", was featured on it. The album that followed, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was a top one on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap: Sing McKnight (2016) was made in collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and featured his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" which featured Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records release the compilation album JackBoys in late 2019. The album debuted at the top of the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott became the first Hot 100 artist to have three songs hit the top spot in less than a decade in 2020.
